Insoft’s TIM is a web-based application, allowing access from any computer or tablet device. It utilises the latest web design technology implemented for modern web browsers. Tasks are requested by the web browser and are carried out behind the scenes on the server without interrupting user interaction, allowing a continuous work flow.
Flexible scaling
TIM is completely scalable and will easily cater for a large number of simultaneous users and a very large number of clients and insurance contracts. It caters for standalone insurance products as well as packaged insurance products with a wide variety of cover. It allows for an unlimited number of locations of the same risk on the same policy.
Easy implementation
Training expenses are very small compared to other significant business systems. The interface makes for a very intuitive software application and has been designed to lead the user rather than to confuse the user. It will not allow illegal operations and checks data entry and progress with each keystroke or mouse click.
Insurance products can be designed and implemented without coding changes – in fact a complex multi- risk product can be created in a few days and is guaranteed to auto rate, control underwriting criteria and produce documentation at all stages of the lifecycle. Rating methodology, rating parameters and underwriting parameters can be updated at any time without compromising existing quotations or policies.
Security assured
TIM operates under a third party security certificate using the https protocol, that is all transmissions are securely encrypted. It stores data in a Microsoft Sql Server database which is an acknowledged world class database leader. Login is strictly controlled with usernames and strong passwords and access by an individual user can be disallowed instantly by the application administrator. Users are assigned different levels of access and their actions are logged to their name. Easier access to meaningful data allows for fraud detection or any kind of malicious behaviour by bringing behavioural patterns and anomalies out of the dark.
Built for business
TIM provides an insurance underwriter with absolute certainty of contract in the correct format, at the correct rates and with the correct underwriting criteria. It is the one tool for business, controlling the underwriting, operations and financial functions all in one package. TIM does not incur large development, licensing or maintenance expenses. There are no up-front costs for the base package.
All data entry is saved immediately so that a web browser crash or communication failure does not result in loss of work. All insurance contract documents are numbered and stored in a secure format for future reference.
It has the ability to produce and manage all client documentation including quotations, proposals, schedules, certificates, tax invoices, certificates of currency and debtor’s statements in standard document formats. It can be configured to allow access for data entry and policy management to any number of third party businesses but still retain underwriting and financial management at product owner level.
